2 sticks butter, softened
|
|
1/2 cup granulated sugar
|
|
1 3/4 cups flour
|
|
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
|
|
2 tsp vanilla
|
|
2 tsp instant coffee
|
|
1/2 tsp salt
|
|
2 cups finely chopped nuts
|
|
confectioners sugar
|

Instructions |
|
|
Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
|
|
|
Add flour, cocoa, vanilla, coffee, salt and nuts, mix until very well blended.
|
|
|
Shape dough into 1 inch balls and place about 1 inch apart on buttered cookie sheets.
|
|
|
Bake in moderate oven, 325 degrees F, for about 15 mins. Cool on wire racks. Roll in confectioner's sugar and store in airtight container.
