In a medium saucepan combine the broccoli and 3/4 cup of the broth. Bring to boiling.
Reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 8-12 minutes or until broccoliis tender.
In a screw-top jar, combine the remaining chicken broth, flour and basil. Cover & shake to mix. Stir flour mixture into broth mixture in saucepan.
Stir in milk. Cook and stir over medium-high heat till mixture is thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 1 minute more. Stir in Chicken. Heat through. If desired, season to taste with salt and pepper.
