4 cups water

1 16-oz bag frozen, Southern-style hash browns
|

1 cup frozen chopped onion or 1 medium onion, chopped

1 pound ground eye of round beef, cut into bite-size pieces

2 4-oz cans mushroom stems and pieces, undrained
|
|
1 1-oz envelope dry onion soup mix
|
|
1 16-oz jar chunky salsa
|

Instructions |

|
Spray a slow cooker with nonfat cooking spray.
|

|
Put all the ingredients in the slow cooker. Stir until well mixed.
|

Cover and cook in the slow cooker on high for 4 hours or on low for 8-9 hours.

If desired, salt and pepper to taste.
