Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None
Servings   4
Preptime   25

Ingredients
8 oz. (2 2/3 cups) uncooked penne (tube-shaped pasta)
1/2 lb. bulk Italian pork sausage
1 (15-oz.) container refrigerated tomato pasta sauce
1/4 cup shredded fresh basil
2 oz. mozzarella cheese, diced (1/2 cup)
1 oz. (1/4 cup) shredded fresh Parmesan cheese

Instructions
1.Cook penne to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; cover to keep warm. 2.Meanwhile, brown sausage in large saucepan. Drain; return to saucepan. Add pasta sauce; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in basil and mozzarella cheese. Cook 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese is slightly melted. 3.To serve, spoon sauce mixture over cooked pasta. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
Ingredient Substitutions Rigatoni or fusilli can be used in place of the penne. Make It Special Try fresh mozzarella in this recipe. Made from whole milk, fresh mozzarella is softer, less elastic and sweeter than regular mozzarella, which is made from skim or part-skim milk.
