     OVEN CARMEL CORN

Ingredients
15 c. popped corn
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
 

Instructions
Heat oven (200º). Divide popcorn evenly into 2 baking pans or I use 1 large roaster pan. In a sauce pan mix brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt. Cook and stir over medium heat until it gets bubbles around edges. Cook 5 minutes more. Take pan from heat. Stir in soda, mix until foamy. Pour over popcorn and stir until all is coated. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Serving Suggestions
Serve as a snack. This keeps well in an airtight container or it can be frozen and reheated to freshen. I give as christmas presents.
