     Five Spice Tilapia

Ingredients
1 lb tilapia fillets
1 tsp chinese five spice powder
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 Tbs. light brown sugar
1 Tbs canola oil
3 scallions, thinly sliced
 

Instructions
Sprinkle both sides of fillets with 5 spice powder. Combinesoy sauce and brown sugar in a small bowl
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over med. high heat. Add fish and cook until the outer edges are opaque, about 2 minutes. Reduce heat to med., turn fish over, stir soy sauce mixture and pour into pan. Bring sauce to boil and cook until fish is cooked through and the sauce is slightly thickened. Add scallions and remove from heat.
Serve fish drizzled with the pan sauce.
