process strawberries until smoothe (4cups)and put in 2qt kettle. Vigorously stir in pectin which is added slowly. let stand 20 min stirring occasionally.
Pour in syrup and mix well. Gradually stir in sugar and carefully heat to 100deg. It should only be luke-warm.
