     apricot and cream cheesestuffed french toast

Ingredients
1 pkgcream cheese
1/3 cup chopped dried apricots halved
3 tbsp sugar
1 loaf italian bread
4 lg eggs
1 1/2 cup half and half
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
powderd sugar and syrup
 

Instructions
spray 9x13 pan. in small bowl combine cheese apricots and sugar mix well til creamy.cut and dicard ends of french bread cut bread into 6 2 inch slices ct throught the top of crust to form a pocket stuff cheese mixture into pocket.lay in pan
whisk egg 1/2 and 1/2 and vanilla pour mixture over bread slices cover and chill 30 min turning once
spray grill cook on hot griddle for 3 min each side sprinkle with powdered sugar serve with syrup
