     Black-eyed Pea Soup

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef (or venison/sausage)
1 large chopped onion
3 TBS of chili power
1 TBS of brown sugar
2 cans black-eyed peas (I use one with jalapeños)
2 cans of Rotel (use what you like, I like it hot)
1 jar Cheese Whiz
 

Instructions
Cook ground meat and onion until done. Drain well. Add meat and onion to crock pot Stir in Chili and brown sugar Add the rest and cook on low for several hours or all day When ready to eat add cheese whiz to bowl and spoon soup on top. ENJOY!!! I add garlic powder and season salt to the meat when I am cooking.
