Cream butter and add sugar and vanilla. Blend in flour. If to soft, refrigerate. Divide dough into 2 parts and roll into 12" logs 2" diameter.

Take saranwrap and put colored sugar down, roll in sugar and roll long in saranwrap. Place in fridge at least 2 hours or until firm.

|
slice into 1/4" thick slices and bake on cookie sheet.
|
|
|
375 degrees for about 8 minutes or until golden brown.
