1 bag Jonathan Apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
|

1/4 cup flour
|

1-1/4 cup sugar
|
|
cinnamon
|
|
nutmeg
|

butter

Instructions |

|
Line pie plate with pastry. Put flour and 1/4 cup sugar in bottom. Fill with apples.

Sprinkle 1 cup sugar over top of apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg to taste. Dot with butter.

Place second pie crust over apples. Crimp edges. Cut vents in top. Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

|
Bake 15 minutes at 425 degrees. Reduce heat to 350 and bake an additional 30 minutes.
