     Basic Whole-Wheat Fruited Muffins

Ingredients
¾ cup whole-wheat flour
¾ cup all-purpose flour
1 cup old fashioned oats
¼ cup honey
¼ cup canola oil
1 cup nonfat milk
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 large egg, beaten separately
1 tsp. cinnamon - spices as desired
 
1 ½ cups chopped fruit

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F. Combine all dry ingredients together in one bowl and create a well in the center. Mix wet ingredients together separately and incorporate into the dry mixture. Evenly distribute the batter among a lightly sprayed muffin pan. Bake for about 15- 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
