     The Works Potato Bake

Ingredients
4 large red-skinned boiling potatoes, unpeeled
8 slices bacon
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup milk
1 bunch green onions, chopped
2 cups sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In large pot, boil potatoes in water to cover until tender, about 45 minutes.
Fry bacon until crips, drain well, crumble, set aside.
Drain potatoes, add salt, pepper, butter and milk, Mash. Add half of onions and bacon, and sti in 1/2 cup of sour cream. Mix well.
Spoon mixture into a 9 1/2 x 11 inch glass baking dish. Cover with remaining sour cream, cheese and bacon. Cover dish and bake 15-30 minutes or until cheese melts. Garnish with remaining onions and bacon.
