12 oz Tric-color fafalle
|

3 tbsp vegetable oil
|

1 cup onion, chopped
|

1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
|

1/2 cup celery chopped
|

1/2 tsp cumin powder
|

salt and pepper to taste
|

2 cups chicken stock
|
|
1 cup frozen peas
|

Instructions |

|
In a large casserole, heat oil. Add the farfalle and saute until golden brown
|

|
Add onion, peppers, celery, cumin, salt and pepper to taste. Saute 2 mins.
|
|
|
Add chicken stock. Stir to blend. Bring to boil and simmer until pasta is tender about 12-14 mins.
|
|
|
Just before pasta is done add frozen peas and tomato sauce. Return to boil, reduce heat, and simmer until all ingredients are heated through.
