     Oatmeal Yeast Rolls

Ingredients
2 pkg warm water
1/2 c. warm water
1 c milk, scalded
1/3 c sugar
2 tsp salt
1 stick margarine
2 eggs beaten
4 1/2 - 5 cups flour
1 1/4 c quick quaker oats
 
powdered sugar glaze

Instructions
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Pour scalded milk over sugar, salt and margarine; cool to lukewarm. Add eggs, 1 cup flour and oats to yeast mixture; mix well and add to milk mixture. Stir in enough flour to make a stiff dough. Turn out on lightly floured board or canvas and knead until smooth and satiny, about 10 min.
put in greased bowl and grease top of dough. Cover and let rise in warm place until double in size. Punch down dough and let rest 10 minutes. Roll half of dough out and spread melted oleo over surface; sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over top and roll up. Slice 1-1 1/2 inches thick and place in greased pan. Let rise until double in size and bake at 350F until golden brown.
drizzle with powdered sugar glaze while warm. You can also add chopped nuts or raisins to dough whe putting cinnamon and sugar on.
