2 cloves garlic, minced

1 spanish onion, chopped

12-18 baby carrots, chopped

half package of mushrooms

1 can stewed Italian tomatoes

1 pound ground beef (can be omitted for vegetarian version)

2 bay leaves
|
|
1 tsp rosemary
|
|
2 leaves fresh sage , or 1 tsp dried

1 Jar tomato basil pasta sauce like progresso
|
|
1 Tbsp ground oregano
|
|
1 Tsp peanut butter
|
|
Pasta of your choice, cooked al Dente
|
|
Garnish- parsley and parmesan
|

|

Instructions |

|
Sautee in 1 to 2 tsp oil the following,
Garlic
Onion
Carrots
Mushrooms
1 Sage Leaf.
Sautee for 7-10 minutes, until onions turn opaque. Set aside.

In medium sauce pan, brown ground beef and drain the fat.
|
|
|
Combine the beef, sauteed veggies, and remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat until almost boiling, cover, and reduce heat. Cook for 5 minutes.

|
Add to fresh drained and tossed pasta. Garnish.
