Mix flour and salt together in 1 bowl. In a seperate bowl blend butter, sugar, and vanilla. Beat 1 egg into the butter/sugar mixture. Stir flour mixture into sugar mixture. Add chocolate chips and stir.
Shape into 1 inch balls and and place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
Once cookies are cooled, roll in powder sugar.
