     Nutella Pinwheel Cookies

Ingredients
8 oz. unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 extra large egg yolks
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/3 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup nutella, divided
 

Instructions
In a small bowl stir together the flour and salt and set aside. In a large mixing bowl cream together the butter and sugar. Add the egg yolks and the vanilla and mix until combined. Slowly add the flour to the mixture mixing constantly until a soft dough forms.
Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface. Shape into a square and divide in half. Wrap each hlaf in plastic wrap and stick it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Unwrap one half of the dough and place onto floured surface, cover with plastic wrap and roll out into a 10X8 inch rectangle 1/4 inch thickness. Remove the plastic wrap and spread 1/4 cup of the nutella over the entire dough. Roll into a tight roll. Wrap parchment paper around the log and refrigerate for 30 minutes or freeze for 15 minutes. Repeat with remaining dough. Preheat oven to 350. slice the logs into slices and bake on parchment paper and baking sheet for 12- 15 minutes. Cool for 2 minutes and store in an air tight container.
