     Yorkshire Pudding

Ingredients
1 1/2 sifted all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp salt
3 well-beaten eggs
1 1/2 c milk
3 TSB beef drippings
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix flour and salt. Combine eggs and milk; add gradually to flour, beating just untill smooth.
Pour beef drippings (or a mixture of butter and bacon drippings) into each of 2 (9 inch) pie plates- heat sizzling hot in the oven.
Pour half of batter into each hot pie plate; put immediately into the 450 degree oven and bake or 25-30 minutes, or untill puffed and brown.
To serve, cut in pie-shaped wedges.
