Bake Yellow Cake Mix according to the box. After baking, poke holes with end of wooden spoon. Boil sugar and crushed pineapple with juice. After boiling sugar and crushed pineapple pour over cake while hot. Cool and sprinkle with chopped nuts. In medium mixing bowl mix instant pudding accordint to directions. Add coconut to pudding mixture. Take pudding and coconut mixture and spread over the top of cake. Top with cool whip, nuts, and coconut. Refrigerate.
