Cook ground beef and drain. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix beef with a can of cream of mushroom soup and salt and pepper. Spread evenly over bottom of baking dish, top with tater tots. Cook for 30 minutes or until tater tots are warm and not frozen. Add a layer of cheese to the top and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
