     Pork Chops with Blue Cheese Sauce

Ingredients
4 bone-in pork loin chops (7 ounces each)
1 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
1 green onion, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon butter
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
2/3 cup fat-free milk
3 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
1 tablespoon white wine or Progresso ® Reduced-Sodium Chicken Broth
 

Instructions
Sprinkle pork chops on both sides with pepper. Broil 3-4 in. from the heat for 4-6 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer reads 160°.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, saute onion and garlic in butter until tender. Sprinkle with flour; stir until blended. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add cheese and wine; heat through. Serve sauce with chops. Yield- 4 servings.
