     Pretzel Salad

Ingredients
2-2/3 cups pretzels
3 tbs sugar
2 cups boiling water
1 cup sugar
1 10-oz. Box frozen strawberries
1 8-oz. Package cream cheese
1 6-oz. Package jello (strawberry)
¾ cup melted margarine
1 cup cream, whipped
 

Instructions
Crush pretzels with a rolling pin. Melt butter with 3 tbs. Sugar, then add to pretzels. Spread in bottom of 9” x 13” pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Let cool.
Whip together the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and whipping cream. Spread over cooled crust. Dissolve jello in boiling water, add strawberries – then pour carefully over cream cheese mixture. Chill and serve.
