     Flaming Oranges

Ingredients
8 lg navel oranges
1/4 cup slivered orange rind
2 cups orange juice
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 1/2 cups of Cointreau
 

Instructions
Cut rind and white membrane from oranges. Sliver rind to make 1/4 cup. In a saucepan, combine orange rind and juice and simmer for 10 mins. Blend cornstarch with 1 cup of liqueur, Stir into rind mixture. Continue stirring until thickened. (Can be made in advance up to this point)
When ready to serve, reheat sauce and spoon over oranges. Place on serving platter. Warm remaining liqueur in a heatproof ladle and set aflame. Pour over oranges. Serve when flames die.
