In 1/4 cup warm water add 2 packets dry yeast. In a bowl mix milk, sugar, salt, egg and shortening. Then add yeast.
Sift 3 1/2 cup flour. Add half then beat. Add the rest. Let rise 30-40 minutes, punch down and let it rise again. roll out in traingle. Spread with butter, sugar and cinnamon. Roll up and cut in 1 inch slices. Place in a buttered pan with brown sugar and slices of butter. Let rise. Cook at 350 degrees 15-25 minutes.
Boil butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and pecans for sauce for one pan.
