     German Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients
1 box german chocolate cake mix
3/4 stick of butter or margarine
2/3 C. evaporated milk
1 C. chopped walnuts
14 oz. bag caramels
1 C. chocolate chips
 

Instructions
Mix cake mix with butter, 1/3 C. evaporated milk and walnuts.
Put 1/2 of mixture in greased, 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Melt caramels with 1/3 C. evaporated milk. Pour over baked dough and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Form remaining dough into patties and place on top of chocolate chips. Bake 16 minutes at 350.
