Category   Desserts - Breads
Sub Category   None
Servings   30
Preptime   30 minutes

Ingredients
Saltine crackers
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
chopped nuts

Instructions
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Line a jelly roll pan with heavy duty aluminum foil and spray with Pam. Line the foil with Saltine crackers trying to fill pan as best as possible. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sugar together. Bring to a rolling boil and continue to boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour sugar/butter mixture over crackers and spread evenly with a clean metal spoon. Cook in oven for 6 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Allow chips to melt and then spread evenly with a clean metal spoon. Top with chopped nuts.
Allow toffee to cool to room temperature and then transfer pan to refrigerator for final cooling. When toffee has hardened, break into small pieces. Enjoy!
