     Peaches and Cream Shortcake

Ingredients
3/4 C. flour
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
3-1/2 oz. vanilla pudding mix (not instant)
3 T. butter, softened
1 egg
1/2 C. milk
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/2 C. plus 1 T. sugar
 
1 can (15-20 oz.) peaches in liquid
3 T. juice from peaches
1/2 t. cinnamon

Instructions
Grease 10 inch pie plate. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, pudding, butter, egg and milk. Beat 2 minutes, pour into pie plate.
Drain peaches, save liquid, place fruit on top of batter.
Mix cream cheese, 1/2 C. sugar and 3 T. juice from fruit. Beat 2 minutes, spoon over fruit to one inch from sides of pie plate.
Mix 1 T. sugar and cinnamon, spoon on top. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes
