     Pecan Toffee Squares

Ingredients
BASE-
(1) 18.25 oz. yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 egg - beaten
FILLING-
(1) 14 oz. can SWEETENED condensed milk (Eagle)
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
(1) 6 oz. pkg choc. coated toffee bits (Heath)
 
1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions
Heat oven to 350'. Grease 13 x 9 pan. In large bowl combine cake mix and butter (margarine). Mix well with blender. Stir in egg to moisten. Press mixture in bottom of pan. Bake at 350' for 7 minutes.
Meanwhile, in medium bowl, combine milk, vanilla and 1 egg, mix well. Stir in toffee bits and pecans.
Remove pan from oven. Pour filling evenly over warm base. Return to oven; bake an additional 22 to 30 minutes or until filling is set.
Cool for one hour or until completely cooled. Cut into bars. Store in refrigerator until needed.
