     Broccoli Cheese Soup

Ingredients
2 packages (16 oz each) chopped, frozen broccoli
1 box (2 pounds) processed cheese spread
1 cup Half and Half
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 cups milk
1 onion, diced
Garlic to taste
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
 

Instructions
Cook frozen broccoli in small amount of water. Set aside.
In a double boiler, melt the cheese spread with Half and Half, stirring occasionally until the cheese is completely melted. Combine with the broccoli.
In a small bowl mix the cornstarch with milk and stir until smooth. Combine with broccoli.
Add onion and generously spice. Continue to cook for an additional 30 minutes.
