In skillet or sauce pan (or in microwave), combine and bring to a boil brown sugar, butter, salt and Karo (about 5 minutes).

Remove from heat and add vanilla and soda. Beat mixture well.
|
|
|
Pour over corn and stir with a wooden spoon. Spread on a well-greased cookie sheet (or use parchment paper).
|
|
|
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
