     Hershey Cake

Ingredients
2 sticks butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
1 large can Hershey Syrup (light or dark)
2 tablespoons vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
 
1/2 cocoa powder
7 small Hershey bars or 1 large Hershey bar (7 oz), melted (optional)

Instructions
In mixer cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Add vanilla and syrup and combine well.
Sift flour, salt, soda and cocoa. Add the sifted ingredients to the creamed mixture alternately with the buttermilk. Add melted candy or 1 cup chocolate chips.
Grease and flour and bundt pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 - 1 1/4 hours (until it springs back when lightly touched). Cool for 10 minutes in pan then invert onto a serving platter.
