1 ½ c. sugar

½ c. shortening
|

2 eggs
|

1 c. milk
|
|
3 c. flour
|

1 T. baking powder
|

1 t. salt

Topping-
|
|
1 c. brown sugar
|
|

4 T. flour
|
|
2 T. cinnamon
|
|
1 c. raisins
|

4 T. melted margarine
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|

Instructions |
|
|
Mix together sugar, shortening and eggs. Then stir in milk, flour, baking powder and salt
|

Put in greased 9 x 13 (or larger) pan.
|

|
For topping, mix all ingredients and sprinkle on dough, then swirl in.
|
|
|
Bake 35-40 minutes at 400 until not gooey in center. To serve, slice each piece horizontally on a plate and put some butter inside to melt.
