Combine cream cheese, butter, sugar, and flour in mixing bowl. Use spray shortening on miniature cupcake pans. Divide dough in half. Divide each half into thirds. Makes it easier to then divide the thirds into four tarts each. Pat in. Be sure no holes in dough for filling to seep through.
Beat egg, brown sugar, and 1 tbsp sugar, and vanilla. Add chopped nuts. Spoon into shells. Bake at 350 18-20 minutes. Shells should look golden when done. After cooled, remove from cupcake pans and dust with powdered sugar.
Note- I usually double the recipe as 2 doz are gone in no time.
