Preheat oven to 375°F. Simmer apricots in water until liquid is
absorbed, about 8 minutes. Cool.
Sift flour, baking powder, and cinnamon together. Mix in crushed
cereal. Cream butter and sugar together. Cut in dry ingredients to
form a uniform crumb mixture.
Mix in coconut and press 2/3 of crumb mixture firmly into an
ungreaesd 8x8x2 inch pan. Spread apricot mixture evenly over the
crumbs. Cover evenly with remaining crumb mixture.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with
whipped cream, or cool and cut into bars.
