Spread popped corn in 9 by 13 pan and put in 250 oven to keep
warm.
Combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Heat, stirring
until sugar dissolves. Continue to boil to firm ball stage (248),
about 5 minutes. Remove from head and stir in baking soda. Syrup
will foam.
Pour hot syrup over popped cord. Stir to mix well. Return to over
for 45 minutes, stiffing every 15 minutes. Cool
