Ingredients
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
5 eggs
1 teas. vanilla
3 c. flour
5 tbs. corn starch
1/4 teas. baking powder
1 c. milk
 
1 teas. lemon juice
Instructions
Cream sugar, shortening, butter, add eggs one at a time. Add flour, corn starch, and baking powder. Add one cup of milk slowly. Add vanilla and lemon.
Bake at 300 for 2 hours.
IMPORTANT- Start in cold oven.
