1tbsp oil
|

1 onion, chopped
|

500g mince
|
|
2tbsp plain flour
|
|
1tbsp tomato sauce
|
|
1tbsp chutney/relish
|
|
3/4c liquid beef stock
|

8 - 10 potatoes
|

1tbsp butter
|
|
|
|
1tbsp onion, finely chopped
|
|
1/2c grated cheese
|
|
Salt to season

Instructions |
|
|
Heat oil in frying pan. Add onion, cook until clear.
Add mince and cook until well browned, stirring
constantly
|

|
Stir in flour, cook for 1min. Add tomato sauce,
chutney and stock. Bring to boil, reduce heat, and
simmer for 5mins
|

Cook potatoes. Drain and heat for a few mins. Shake
pan frequently. Mash potatoes. Add butter, onion and
half the cheese, mix until smooth and season
|
|
|
put mince in dish. Top with mashed potato. Sprinkle
remaining cheese over the mashed potato. Bake 190C
for 20mins, or until golden
