Cut asparagus into 1 inch pieces. Steam asparagus until still crunchy (about 4 minutes). Place aside to cool.

On a plate combine a pinch of salt and equal parts garlic powder and Cajun or chili powder seasoning (adjust to taste).

Rub spice mixture on tilapia until each piece is covered. Heat about two tablespoons of oil in pan and cook tilapia until flaky. About 2 ½ to 3 minutes on each side. Remove fish from pan and cover to keep warm.

|
Immediately throw asparagus into the pan and add some salt and fresh lemon. Cook until tender.
