     Fettuccine Casserole

Ingredients
2 Cups Frozen, Thawed Asparagus Cut Into 1 inch Pieces
8oz Cooked Fettuccine Pasta
2 Tablespoons Chopped Ham
1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
2 Tablespoons All Purpose Flour
2 Cups Milk
1/4 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Freshly Ground Black Pepper
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375. To prepare sauce, in a medium saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add flour, cook, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Add milk, cook stirring constantly, until mixture thickens, about 5 minutes. Add Parmesan, salt, and pepper, stir until smooth.
In a medium bowl, combine asparagus, pasta and ham. Mix well. Place pasta mixture in a medium shallow casserole. Pour sauce over top.
Bake until heated through and top is golden, about 30 minutes. Serve immediately.
Serving Suggestions
Can use fresh asparagus look for thin bright green stocks
