     Split pea burger

Ingredients
.5 C onion
.5 C Peppers (red, yellow, orange, or green - I did some of 3)
Kosher salt and black pepper
2 cloves garlic
1 cup split pea
.5 cup of brown rice
1 t of Cumin
1 t of Coriander
.75 C bread crumbs
 
Stewed Tomatoes, spaghetti sauce (whichever or even vegetable broth)

Instructions
Saute onions, peppers, garlic in olive oil. Add salt and pepper. Add stewed tomatoes (broth, spaghetti sauce), peas, rice and simmer.
Place mixture in food processor and just blend, not puree. Pour into bowl and add bread crumbs. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Place in pan with olive oil and cook 3-4 minutes on each side. Can also dredge in bread crumbs for a crunchier burger.
