     Mascarpone Chive Dip with Pita Chips

Ingredients
4 Whole Wheat Pita Breads
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp dried oregano
salt & pepper
4 strips bacon, crispy, chopped
1 cup mascarpone cheese - room temp
3/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 450.
Cut each pita into 8 wedges. Place in single layer on cookie sheet. Brush with oil then sprinkle with oregano, salt, and pepper. Bake for 5-8 minutes until crisp and golden. Set aside to cool.
In a medium bowl, combine bacon, cheese, sour cream, & chives. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve dip & chips.
