1 2 1/2lb green cabbage, cored and cut into 1 in strips
4 lb small red potatoes
2 T fresh parslet
2 t butter
2 t lemon ridn
2 t lemon juice
1/8 t pepper
1/2 c breadcrumbs
1 5 oz jar horseradish, drained and squeezed
3T dijon mustard
Instructions
Place brisket in a large stockpot, add water and next 5 ingredients. bring to a boil. cover, reduce heat, and simmer 3 hr. revoe brisket from ot. place brisket on the rack of a broiler pan or raosteing pan coated w/ spray; place rack in pan. statrain cooking liquik through a colander into 2 large bowls; discard solids. teturn liquid to pot. add carwa seeds and cabbage. bring to a boil . reduce heat, simmer 20 min. drain.
while cabbe is cookig, place potatoes in a large dutch oven. cover w/ water. bring o boil, cook 20 min. drain, return potatoes to pan. stir in parsley, butter, rind, juice, and pepper toss to coat. preheat broiler. combine breadcrumbs and horseradish. spread mustard over one side of brisket. press breadcrumb mixture onto meat broil 3 min or until lightly broned. serve
