     Sesame Pork ribs

Ingredients
3/4 C packed brown sugar
1/2 C soy sauce
1/2 C ketchup
1/4 C honey
2 Tbls cider vinegar
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp salt
1/4 to 1/2 tsp crushed read pepper flakes
 
5 lbs country- style pork ribs
1 medium onion, sliced
2 Tbls sesame seeds, toasted
2 Tbls chopped green onions

Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the first nine ingredients. Add ribs and turn to coat. Place the onion in a 5-qt slow cooker; arrange ribs on top. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 160-170. Place ribs on a serving platter; sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with make ahead potatoes and sauteed greenbeans with almonds and mustard butter.
