     Pepper steak

Ingredients
1 red pepper, sliced thinly into strips
1 green pepper, sliced thinly into strips
1 cup sliced scallions
1 1/2 cups beef broth
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 TBS butter
1 tsp paprika
2 TBS corn starch
1 TBS tomato paste
 
1/4 cup soy sauce, low salt
1/4 cup water
1 lb. round steak

Instructions
Melt butter in large skillet on stovetop. Brown steak quickly at high heat. Season meat with paprika. Add peppers and saute quickly, till tender.
Mix beef broth, corn starch, tomato paste and soy sauce. Add mixture to meat and peppers. Simmer on low for about 15 minutes. Serve over jasmine rice.
