     French Toast

Ingredients
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
5-oz can evaporated milk
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar
6 pieces of Texas Toast or French bread
 

Instructions
Beat eggs until frothy. Add to 1/2 cup sugar to eggs, beating until dissolved. Add milk, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg to egg mixture.
Add 1/4 cup sugar to mixture to rethicken.
Dip French bread slices one at a time, both sides covered with egg mixture.
Cook in pan with melted butter until brown. turn and brown other side.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with syrup and powdered sugar.
