     Garlic Butter Noodles with Scallions

Ingredients
8 ounces dry fettucini noodles (half the package)
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup chopped scallions
1 cup sliced mushrooms
6 garlic cloves, finely minced
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 soy sauce
1/4 oyster sauce
 

Instructions
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain into colander and wipe noodle pot clean. Return pot to stove.
Heat butter over medium-low heat. Before the butter gets too hot, add the scallions, mushrooms and garlic. Fry until fragrant, but careful not to let it burn.
Slowly frying on med-low heat will flavor the butter.
Add brown sugar, soy sauce and oyster sauce. Stir.
