     Shabbat French Toast

Ingredients
Day-old Challah
2 Eggs
1/2 cup milk
tiny little drop of vanilla extract
butter
 

Instructions
Cut challah into thin slices (but not so thin that it falls apart or breaks apart in the egg mixture!)
Prepare egg mixture. Beat 2 eggs and stir in 1/2 cup milk. Add tiny little drop of vanilla and stir like a bitch.
Put pan on burner over high. Heat a generous-sized pat of butter until bubbling. Dip challah into egg mixture, coating all sides. Shake off excess into bowl and place challah in pan. Fry on until a bit brown on each side.
Repeat steps until all challah is finished, adding more butter or adjusting the heat as necessary.
