1. Preheat oven to 325 F. Sift together flour and baking powder. Set aside.
2. In a bowl, beat the butter until creamy. Gradually add sugar until smooth.
3. Pour a quarter of the milk and flour. Mix. Repeat until all the milk and flour are in the bowl.
4. Grease a rectangular 13x9 inch (32x22 cm). Pour the batter.
5. In a saucepan, combine all sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil and boil them for a few moments.
6. Pour the sauce over the dough. Do not mix. Bake at 325F for 45 minutes.
