     Chicken Cacciatore

Ingredients
2 whole chicken breast (skinless) or 4 half
1 green pepper, sliced
1 onion, sliced
2 tsp chopped garlic (or 2 cloves garlic)
1/4 cup olive oil
mushrooms (to taste)
1 big can crushed tomatoes
Italian breadcrumbs (or plain, seasoned breadcrumbs)
1 egg
 
Little bit of water

Instructions
Heat 1/4 cup oil on stove in frying pan (or large skillet). Beat egg in bowl, add a little water (1 tsp), and dip each chicken breast in egg and dredge in bread crumbs.
Fry chicken on both sides so it's semi-cooked and crusting is browned. Remove chicken from oil, and saute onions, pepper, mushrooms, garlic. Throw chicken in veggies, pour sauce over chicken and veggies and simmer, covered, until done (about half an hour).
